Amy Golter is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than 20 years of nursing experience across a variety of healthcare settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Union Adventist University in 2002 and has worked in hospital care, nursing education, hospice, long-term care, and skilled nursing throughout her career.

She completed a Master’s degree in Nursing Education at Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2009, further strengthening her commitment to patient education and evidence-based practice. Amy went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University, where she specialized in Psychiatric Mental Health and became board certified as a PMHNP.

Originally from Louisiana, Amy has spent most of her life in Nebraska and is proud to serve individuals and families in her community. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, thoughtful, and collaborative mental health care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog, music, and traveling.
