Genetic Testing
Genetic testing gives us information about what specific medications would work best for you based on your genes. Some testing companies are better than others and give more information. We have looked at several and feel have found the best, and most cost effective option.
It only requires a cheek swab and is totally pain free. Ask about this testing at your appointment with one of our clinicians.
SPRAVATOTM
Spravato [esketamine] is offered for treatment resistant depression. It is an in office treatment and we offer it later in the day to better work with your schedule. If you have tried 2-3 or more antidepressants without adequate improvement, this may be the treatment for you. After an initial evaluation with one of our clinicians to see if it is appropriate for you, we can work with your insurance to provide you this treatment. You can also keep your own medication provider as we understand that relationship is important.
